Does anyone know what notifications Facebook may send if someone is trying to hack into their account? Do they send anything for something as simple as someone entering the wrong password a couple of times, or someone trying to use the password recovery and trying to answer their security questions?

I think if the person enters the password wrong a couple times you get an email saying someone tried to log in your account. If they do get in you should get an email or sms saying (you logged in at this current time in this current location with this device). Just go to your account and check the security settings.
