RedHat Linux {YUM INSTALL PROBLEM}

Hi,

I am trying to install yum to my redhat server but get the following error

Code
[root@localhost ~]# cd /tmp/
[root@localhost tmp]# mkdir test
[root@localhost tmp]# cd test
[root@localhost test]# yum install yum-utils
Loaded plugins: product-id, subscription-manager
This system is not registered to Red Hat Subscription Management. You can use subscription-manager to register.
Setting up Install Process
No package yum-utils available.
Error: Nothing to do
[root@localhost test]#

I am not sure its its due to a misconfiguration within my network as i am also not able to ping my server ip

Code
[*******@gsystem-svr-***** ~]$ ping *.*.*.***
PING *.*.*.*** (*.*.*.***) 56(84) bytes of data.
From *.*.*.*** icmp_seq=2 Destination Host Unreachable
From *.*.*.*** icmp_seq=3 Destination Host Unreachable
From *.*.*.*** icmp_seq=4 Destination Host Unreachable
^Z
[1]+  Stopped                 ping *.*.*.***
[*******@gsystem-svr-***** ~]$

New to linux so not 100% sure on what the error is and have tried to google/youtube trouble shooting but nothing. thanks
Are you using the enterprise version? If so is it cracked or legit.
Its for a CSCI class I have...
Professor created server for us and i am connecting to the console via a [MobaTerm]] don't think its a enterprise version

BUMP

Still looking for help on this if possible
Perhaps you should try what the error message tells you to do.

"This system is not registered to Red Hat Subscription Management. You can use subscription-manager to register."

Did you try running subscription-manager?

also AFAIK

RedHat uses RPM has the primary package manager now.

ISSUE RESOLVED

I had to go into my yum config file via the vi and set it to enable instead of disable and change the url link to the file. Thanks everyone!
