I'm in the process of building a new beefy SLI gaming rig, but I'm waiting for the next-generation of GPU's from Nvidia and CPU's from Intel to be released.

Beyond theory and conjecture, has there been any OFFICIAL timeframe of when Nvidia's "Pascal" graphics cards will hit retail shelves?

And what about the next-gen Intel processors and motherboards/chipsets?

q3/q4 2016 for polaris, zen, pascal, and kaby lake extending into q1 2017
it appears polaris is on track to be a bit ahead of pascal but not with no immediate flagship in sight

you may enjoy this article. it will answer your questions far better than i will, but lga 1151 will be the socket and they're going to be using union point as the chipset.
