How to rotate image in HTML

So i am going to college next year and i applied for Software Developer. I really want to start learning programming. So i have to do some sort of small test and i need to make a basic HTML page with my info, hobbys and a picture of myself. I've all got it done except the image i provided is facing the wrong way. I need to rotate it 90 degrees. Does anyone know how to do this? I've checked google but i can't find a proper solution.

Thanks!
You can't just use HTML.

You need to use jquery

I'd suggest learning CSS in its entirety though, not just particular parts.
