Stock questions

I'm really trying to get into stock trading but i don't know where to start. What is the best site if i'm trying to make around $800 in a month (preferably less than a month)? What should i be trading in if i want to make short term cash? Also, i'm in the U.S. Thanks for any help.
http://www.investopedia.com/ Will teach you everything you need to know. You should research a ton before using your own money and you should play investing virtual games http://www.marketwatch.com/game/

I can help you further if you have any questions through PM

Pretty much what IHopeShe18 said but do take note that just reading everything on Investopedia does not make you an educated trader. You need to actually know how to apply the information. Also, what's your capital?
Start reading at Investopedia. Saying you're looking to make $800 a month does not give us enough information. We need to know how much you got to invest / trade.
Yes, making 800$ in a month from 1.000 $ mean that you are a good trader, making 800$ in a month from 1.000.000 $ mean that you are a shit trader :). Then, remember that there are a lot of tecnque for trading (o stock i prefer scalping) but first, you need some tecnical skill (read Pring or Murphy tecnical analysys).

That would really depend on the individual traders' risk management. Also, nobody is right 100% of the time so expect losses. In a bad year, some people with a 7-figure account are in the red but that doesn't mean that they're a bad trader.
