So I have been looking into doing alot of video editing, I have a Elgato and I have a GoPro and am trying to do a few bits and bobs on YouTube and I have come across a lot of varying reviews on the two of them. Is there anyone in the Video Editing sub that has either two of them and what would you say is best for overall usability and idiot friendly interface?

I want something that will be easy to use once I get the hang of it but still not feel like a complete moron when I first start using it.

Defiantly Sony vegas bro, easy software to learn and has tons of users so tons more tutorials/addons and such. If you want any help im always free and know sony vegas extremely well. Just pm me if ya need help if not i suggest sony vegas

Im going to have to vote Sony Vegas too, I picked it up pretty fast.

Used camtasia, loved it until it turned shit for me. Bugged out for some reason. Also never managed to produce hd videos. Whenever I had hd clips and edited them, it turned out lq on YouTube.

vegas is great to use, easy to understand but can go in depth if you know how to use it well!
