Do you guys reckon the value will keep decreasing?

Groups were worth $8-9k once a upon a time. Now it seems it seems groups aren’t even worth $3k. Omniscient selling/giving groups left, and right ”Apex" lulul wut? Nex/The Grim basically having a empty/useless Subforum and use their groups to sell buyins even for as low as $6 now lol.

I'm glad this new group “Apex" popped up just before Omniscient was ready to middleman my group deal with the "Squad" Owner. Giving me a second chance to run with my BTC and not be a idiot and buy into a sinking ship.
IMO the ship is sinking very fast wouldn't be surprised if another 1-3 groups get sold directly from Omniscient in the upcoming months 🤣

The values keep decreasing because they are getting sold left and right.
If people start buying groups again for a specific purpose on Hack Forums, rather than to make a quick buck, then this wouldn't happen.

That's what I assumed but who's to say Omniscient weren't just sell another 5 groups within the next 6 months? What will the value be after he does that?

I'm not really keen on doing that and just hoping he doesn't do any of that.

Right now group prices are tanking hard and fast, if they are to recover action has to be taken. If they continue down this road much longer we could see prices close to 2k and that will hurt a lot of people.

My speculation is that the prices are dropping because groups don't stay around for longer than a couple of months. This is just what I gather from everything I've read on the topic. Back then, groups had a purpose and weren't rebranded every other week. Again, just speculating. Tell me if I'm wrong.

Really? It hurts like less than 20 people and opens up groups to people with less money and better intentions. Once the groups started selling for over 5K it became obvious that the only people who could afford them were the members with money in mind and not the good of the community.

That's because new group owners:

- Buy the group for the base price
- Hype the shit out of it
- Add more hype with userbar graphics
- Add random graphics thread to the group section
- Add group info thread which they may state that they may or may not accept buy-ins
- May or may not accept buy ins
- Don't do anything extravagant/relevant for the short lifespan they own the group (there are exceptions of course; shit I'm no group expert)
- Sell the group for the similar price they bought it with

Group owners don't do much to ADD value to the groups. What makes one group worth more than the other? They only profit from them.
