hi, I was trying to install windows 7 starter without the use of USB sticks or DVD media, cds etc. for the purpose I used an excellent program called easybcd. in the program there is a function to load winpe installations. all goes well. Then, I get this message and I can not continue with the installation of windows starter.




it is in Italian, but I can try to translate:

missing a device driver required for cd or dvd drive. if you have a floppy drive, a flash drive, a CD or a DVD with the driver, add it now..

What is the manufacturer, model and s/n of your computer? are you still using the stock dvd/CD player or did you install a custom one?

Did you boot your Starter using ISO entry? I think install won't work with it.

If you are using WinPE entry (boot.wim), where did you copy contents of Starter ISO?

I mounted the iso file with WinCDEmu and then I copied the files and folders on a partition that I created specifically (ntfl, 8GB)

Your path is wrong.
It should be [E:]\sources\boot.wim

So copy your ISO contents in root of your E:
