I cant seem to find this previously suggested, oddly.

But I would suggest allowing an increased number of images per post. Perhaps restricted to Ub2rs and/or 3pics as an upgrade benefit.

My logic and reasoning is quite simple.
For large threads, such as Tutorials, master threads, and support threads many times there is a need for multiple diagrams and images. Also with large threads. Text formatting only goes so far. To break sections and parts up it would be much more visually pleasing to the reader to insert line break graphics instead of simply

Allowing an increase would also help in users being able to avoid getting others to "post hold" for them in order to get around the limitation.

This could also potentially help down the road for the slideshow idea, if implemented.

So I would propose increasing the image limit per post from 15 to 20-25.

It actually is an issue, and a frustrating one at that.
Its minor, admittedly. But why essentially spam with double posts when it can easily be placed in a singular post?

It makes threads more aesthetically pleasing to view, allows us the users additional flexibility in out thread designs and layouts, and whayever minimal abuse this could cause (posting massive over sized images) is easily addressed what I imagine would already be in place, a warning for abuse of the feature.

It takes unnessisary use of site resources.
Why get a friend to post and then delete as placeholder when I could simply do it all myself in one shot.

Again, any abuse can easily be dealt with by whats already in place. I dont see why this couldn't be changed honestly.

Having 15 images in a thread is a lot. Members don't usually exceed this amount, if you do then just have a friend placehold for you. Problem solved.

I mean YEA, 15 seems reasonable, I normally agree.
But damn the placeholder thing and everything especially having to break a Major thread up in to separated posts, - just for images is annoying.
