Hey guys, I want to upgrade my Windows because currently I have Windows 7 32-bit and I can't use all of my RAM, only 2gb instead of the full 16. I think the cause of that is being on 32-bit, but idk. So my question is would upgrading to Windows 10 give me 64-bit or 32-bit, and can I still upgrade free if my copy of Windows 7 is pirated? Might be a stupid question but I've never dealt with this before.

I believe it would give you the 32-bit version if you upgrade with the windows update they send. I would download the .iso of the 64-bit and go that route just when prompted click upgrade. As for can you upgrade, as long as you're system says Windows is Genuine at the bottom when you right-click "My Computer" > properties you should be fine. |
