Over the past 2-3 years I've seen many people make threads in the

Suggestions and Ideas forum requesting better tools for group leaders / owners, and Omniscient is always busy with other stuff so it will probably be a long time before they are implemented.

In the mean time 'Remix is working on a Group Leader/Owner Enhancement Suite similar to HFES (HF Enhancement Suite - 2 years strong - Making life easier for thousands of HF users! by Emylbus ).

It will be released sometime within the next 2 weeks and here are the features it will have:

• Page that shows activity of members in the group such as:
  -Posts in the group,
  -Posts outside the group
  
• A way to blacklist members so their never added to the group, (basically when a leader blacklists a group, it'll show on the members profile and all leaders can see it.
  
• Highlight users on managegroup.php
  
• Auto Accept/Deny/Ignore All Join Requests
  
• Quick Add / Remove to group by visiting users profile
  

There are more features being developed that I don't want to mention at the moment.

I had a lot of the ideas and he brought them to life.

If you have any suggestions for this toolkit post them below and way may consider it.

Installation:

For the blacklist feature each group has to host their own API on a webserver

Name the file bl_api.php or whatever you want.

Once you have that file hosted on a webserver all leaders of the group need to provide a link to that file in the 'blacklist URL' field on the settings page here https://hackforums.net/usercp.php?action=options

All group leaders must use the same API link as it acts as a centralized database for each group.


Group Invitation Settings
The group invitation settings are for the add/remove buttons on users profile.


In the above picture, I can add Omni to the brotherhood with the click of a button, If Omni was in BH it would let me remove Omni

Under the 'Group Invitation' section of settings you must enter your groups info.

For example:

Group Name = The Brotherhood
Group ID = 54
Group Image NamE/URL = https://hackforums.net/images/modern_bl/...erhood.png

I am a leader of multiple groups, can I still use the activity check feature?

Yes. Just pop in the thread URL and correct group ID.

How do I find my group ID?
You go to https://hackforums.net/usercp.php?action=usergroups

If you highlight the "View Members" button for any group you lead you will see

https://hackforums.net/managegroup.php?gid=XX

XX is your group id

Sounds pretty useful, the blacklisting part would actually be pretty nice since the owners wouldn't have to check the UID of each member if they got accepted.

It would be cool to add this into the toolkit as well. I have the code if you're interested, but I'm not sure who originally made it.
