Hello, I am not sure if a thread like this has been made already but I've heard a lot of people being limited to the one month gold trials. This is a pretty basic tutorial of how to keep getting free one months account and I will also throw in tips on how to get an xbox representative to rip it off and give you a token code.

If you are too lazy to make an account, PM me and I will make one for you. The reason behind me limiting who PM's me is because I will not make one for alt accounts or people with bad reputation/trolls.


First things first:

You all most likely know the method of getting a free one month code via payments options. If you don't I'll explain now, if you do feel free to drop down to the next header. I won't be issuing any methods in organized steps so just pay attention.

(This only works if you're obviously from a country that allows the trial).

Steps - Create a new xbox live account on xbox.com and select what region you're from. Then you want to 'Join xbox live gold' and select the $0.00 1 month trial plan. Fill in your payment information/billing information and then continue the process until your trial has been successful.




Continuous method:

If you already know this method then don't bother with the thread. I am just helping people who obviously get limited to these subscriptions as their is an individual trial limit per individual payment method. From my experience and understanding, one payment method (even if auto-renewal is cancelled and card/paypal is taken off) can only be set 3-4 times before xbox says it can no longer be authorized.

Note: This may seem like a simple and possibly already known method but I have showed this to many people in the xbox community which they didn't know about. I am not sure about the people on HF, so sorry if this tutorial is already broad throughout the community.


Steps:

If your payment method keeps saying unauthorized or 'This won't work, use a different way to pay', then this thread is for you.

What you wanna do is visit here and search for an xbox related product. Example of what to search are things like; Xbox 1 month code and the gift cards.



From here on, you want to add one to your cart, then continue and then it will ask for your payment information. THIS WILL 100% WORK and attach to your account unless you have transaction blocks within your bank.

When you fill out your payment information, you want to continue until you get to your checkout page, then you want to ignore it and close it and go back to xbox.com and do what you would usually do (previous steps) when signing up for a 1 month trial.

You then want to go to account settings, services and subscriptions and cancel your subscription. It will say that you lose all multiplayer access, but what they mean is when your trial is over you lose it all. This works over and over with the same payment option. If this doesn't just remove the payment option like you usually would and do this method again and it will never give you an unauthorized payment error.



Ripping xbox gold:

I am not aware of other ways to rip gold and I'm sure people on and off HF know better and easier ways but just incase you don't, you want to contact microsoft support change found here.

Note: This works 10x easier if you call them up.

You want to contact support and tell them you're gold subscription isn't working. You've deleted and downloaded your account multiple times, reset your xbox and done every possible solution to fixing the gold. Tell them you've read on a forum that xbox can suspend your subscription and grant you a token to replace the live. They will look into it, then 90% most likely permit you with a token.



I have been doing this method for about just over a year and have never had a problem with ripping gold. Sometimes you will get the representatives that fully look into your case then they take the time to do multiple steps but you literally just tell them you've tried everything.

I know this seems like a silly way to rip gold and I'm open to hearing better, but this has worked for me on at least 50+ occasions and I was able to use the gold and even sell them. The only bad thing about this is it takes time for the representative to look into the situation and grant you a token. (Can take up to an hour if you get a virgin representative).

This is very unreliable, as you have to get a support agent who actually will strip the gold.

I'm sure if MS ever catches you cheating the system and you get banned you'll be the one making a thread "I got banned for no reason".

It's extremely hard to strip gold nowadays mainly because years ago people were stealing accounts and using this same method to strip gold off of other people's accounts to use on their own or sell.

Thanks for this method though, maybe it'll come in handy to somebody.

Yeah I used to have much more ease via chat but now they have higher security risks etc but I assure you doing this via phone is quite simple. I'm not sure why but I seem to have no problem stripping the gold via phone.

I feel like this would only work if it was a legitimate reason. I'm sure you could squeak this on a representative at least once, but countless times probably won't be feasible. For the time spent to do this, you probably could have purchased more than a month of Xbox Live by working a job behind a counter.

Try via phone, I'm sure you'll get it, also takes a lot of patience.

It would be hard for microsoft to catch you since you're ripping the gold off a fresh account and readding the subscription on another. They can't go around banning random accounts, though that seems what they do these days anyway. Thanks for your feedback anyway though guys. 😉

Perhaps, but this is good for people who can't afford live or are looking for a simple way to make a code. Nonetheless, they'll have an option at excessive accounts anyhow.

Yeah, it works well for me.

Another good way is to tell the agent that you have a refund process on your other account and you need to take the card off your current account and move it to your other for the refund to process, but to do so means cancelling your active trial subscription. Then ask if they can give you a token to put back on the account once the refund has been successful.

I've done it this way a few times in the past, it's longer but seems to work more efficiently.
