The Topic for this week will be Windows 7. Pros/Cons and best free Apps

What are some of the pros and Cons about this OS and any free Apps you like and or dislike about Windows 7

[TheGoldenRelik]

For me Windows 7 is the best Windows OS till now. I have windows 8.1 on my desktop which is using a lot unusable services.
Windows 7 are way more lightweight than 8.1 and way more flexible and easy-configured than XP.
The only con of W7 I believe is the security section because everything has been evolved, so are viruses.
Windows is trying to sell, so it's creating new OSes rather than maintenance older ones and that's part of the marketing game.

Nice topic!

Well my favorite FREE apps are Brackets.io, Tawk.to, KeePass, Veracrypt.

I used to love Windows 7, its like the new classic. XP was hard to move away from because by sp3, it seems that microsoft really start polishing things up.
End of the day Windows 7 is very good and user-friendly and definitely better than windows 8 IMO

I downgraded from 10 on my Debian/W7 machine and I absolutely love Windows 7. If you watch alot of movies or TV shows stored locally or from a DVD/BD, MPC-HC is definitely a must-have app. Best media player I've ever used, I recommend it over VLC any day. Even handles DVD and Blu-Ray menus using the mouse.
