DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT update your phones just yet. Stay on the lowest firmware possible, This because you might not be able to downgread, but you can always update.
When the jailbreak is ready and seems stable, update your phones and jailbreak.

Most common questions

•Q: Is there a jailbreak for 9.2 or 9.2.1
•A: No, there is not. We still got to wait on that one.

•Q: Is it possible to downgrade to a earlier version of IOS?
•A: Yes there is, but for that to be possible Apple must have the firmware signed.
But at the moment you would NOT be able to downgrade to a jailbreakable firmware.

•Q: Can i jailbreak my iPhone?
•A: It depends on what firmware you're on. If you are over iOS 9.2 you would not be able to, if you're on a lower firmware you are.

•Q: How do i jailbreak my iPhone?
•A: I will have a tutorial on how to jailbreak your iPhone further down this thread.

•Q: When will iOS 9.2+ Jailbreak release?
•A: As of right now no one really knows, we would just have to wait sadly.

Important words


Jailbreaking is always a risk, but if you know what you're doing and follows the instructions right you would not have any troubles with this.
Jailbreaking older firmwares when there is new out there could end up you getting stuck in a bootloop
and your only way out is to update your phone which leads to you getting a non-jailbreakable firmware.

-- This is still relevant, so keep this in mind even tho they have released a stable jailbreak.

How to jailbreak iOS 9.0 and iOS 9.0.2

•Step 1: Download Pangu's jailbreak tool here
•It is recommended to backup your device with iTunes•
•Step 2: Turn off find my iPhone. Go to your settings -> iCloud -> Find my iPhone [Off]
•Step 3: Turn off your passcode. Settings -> Touch ID & Passcode -> Passcode [Off]
•Step 4: Turn your device into airplane mode. Settings -> Airplane mode
•Step 5: Open the jailbreak file you downloaded from Pangu's site.
•Step 6: Plug in your cable into the PC.
•Step 7: The tool should now detect your iDevice. Click on the start button.
•Step 8: If you already have a backup on your device click the Already backup button.
Step 9: Somewhere around 55% your device will restart, once that's done turn airplane mode back on.
•Step 10: Somewhere around 75% it will tell you to unlock your device and run the pangu application.
•Step 11: Once you have opened up the app press accept and allow on the popup that follows.
•Step 12: Wait until its done.
•Step 13: You should now have Cydia on your phone. Open up cydia and let it doing its thing.

How to jailbreak iOS 9.1

OBS THIS IS FOR 64BIT DEVICES ONLY
YOU MUST HAVE ITUNES INSTALLED ON YOUR COMPUTER

•Step 1: Download Pangu's jailbreak tool here
•Step 2: Turn your iPhone into airplane mode.
•Step 3: Disable your Passcode by going into your Settings -> Touch ID & Passcode -> Passcode [Off]
•Step 4: Now logout out of iCloud.
•Step 5: Plug in your Device into your computer and trust it.
•Step 6: Open up the Pangu jailbreak you downloaded earlier and press ''start''
•Step 7: If you already have a backup on your device press '' Already backup'' and press ''start'' again.
•Step 8: Your device will reboot a few times during the installation and that is normal.
•Step 9: At about 90% it will ask you to unlock your device and press the Pangu app you have on your phone.
•Step 10: Now you're done.
•Step 11:You should now have Cydia on your phone. Open up cydia and let it doing its thing.

As you all might now by now Pangu has released a jailbreak for 9.1 i WOULD NOT jailbreak right now.

That was quite a while ago, haven't been able to rephrase that just yet haha. Its safe to jailbreak 9.1 right now. But its always good to keep in mind that things can go wrong.
