I hate Trigger for the most part, including most of Gainax, but this is honestly quite fantastic.

Great characters including character progression, a pretty solid (although quite triggery) story, with lots of sweet moments.

One of the best, if not the best this season.

Just finished watching this now. Great anime, loved it.
The OP was also pretty good, didn't skip it at all and I usually skip OPs.
When an anime ends, I usually yarn for more but this one... perfect ending.
Really recommend this, sad to see it wasn't really that discussed here D:
