I recently contacted using the contact page asking admin for help because I have lost my 2 step auth when I reset my phone. Now when I logged into my account I went from approximately (if i remember right) 250-300 Rep to -9

What was the reason for rep fuck if i may ask? I cannot find it anywhere and it seems very harsch to be rep fucked because I asked for a disable of 2 step just so I could recover my account??

when you lose access to your 2fa, and you request it to be removed, you get rep killed instantly.

basically, you shouldn't lose your 2fa and you would get Rep Killed.

It's been a rule for quite a while already. If you're not upgraded and lose your 2FA, your account will not be recovered. If you're an UB3R and you lose your 2FA, your account may be recovered, but you will receive a rep kill as a penalty.

All account reported lost or stolen are subject to a Rep Kill. If you lost your credentials you are irresponsible. If your account was stolen you are not security minded. In either case we're going to RKO your account.

Yea I understand guys its just hard because I just login once in a while make a small transaction. When you are an ub3r with low rep clearly means your not trustworthy and most community refuses to deal with you. I guess I am abandoning most things in hf now then lol..

Basically, it's a form of protection on your account.
If someone was able to compromise your account, and requested 2FA to be disabled, you automatically get repkilled for the simple fact that if its someone else and not you, people will dwc.
As well as, if YOU disabled 2fa like you requested, it'll keep you in line so you'll know next time.
