Does anyone know how I can get messages back that I had with someone from close to a year ago?

[Wakka]

All messages are stored on a cloud I think, I'm sure I did this a while back with some program.

Same computer or different?

Press and hold the Windows key on your keyboard, then press R to bring up the Run window. Type %appdata%\Skype into the Run window and press OK. Open the folder named after your Skype Name. Find the main database file in the folder (it will be called main or main.db), copy it and save it to an external media device.

Otherwise try login to web.skype.com and see what comes up.

Same computer, and I tried the first method but it didn't take me back far enough.
