Login as Root in Kali

I recently installed Kali on my system. Whenever I login in, I login as my new account which i created while installing Kali. In some cases like of nmap, if i use -sS, it ask me for root privilege. Here sudo helps.

But what if I want to login as a root ? I tried username and password as root and toor but it didn't work. Only my account's username and password works.

So, how to login as ROOT or can i assign by new account all the root privilege?😝
reset the password for root using the below guide

http://www.technig.com/reset-lost-passwo...ali-linux/

then just log into root :)

When I enter the recovery mode, following message occurs:
"Cannot open access to console, the root account is locked.
See sulogin(0) man page for more details.

Press Enter to continue"
You should already be root. Log into Kali again and run:
Code
groups
Try sudo passwd root, it should as for your password then allow you to change the password for the user "root". If the above does not solve your question :)
