I just wanted to take a little poll and see how many members on HF can solve a rubiks cube.

Personally, I can't solve one and I only know 2 people in real life that can. I heard a theory that you must have a certain IQ level to understand how to solve one but I don't believe it.

If you can, I'd like to know how to learned and when you learned how to solve one. How fast can you do it?

solving it isnt that hard lmao, you do it layer by layer and there are different "algorithms" which are just sets of moves to move the pieces in a certain way, eg, swap corners or whatever

I used to be into that shit when i was like 14-15, i doubt i would still manage to solve one rn. But tbh its easy asf you just gotta learn some moves by heart

Man that's awesome I've never been able to solve one. I've actually looked at YouTube video's when I was bored trying to learn tips and tricks ~ but never got it.

I can only solve 1 or 2 sides. I can solve 1 side in less than 10 seconds. Never tried to solve the entire cube.

If given enough time, I am able to solve it.
I never tried too hard to solve one nor I did stumble upon many of these cubes. I might get one for the fun of it.

I understand the concept behind solving them, but have never bothered to memorize exactly all the different moves.
