Synopsis

Toward the end of the 19th century, Allen Walker officially joins the organization of Exorcists that destroy the beings known as Akuma; mechanic weapons made by the Millennium Earl with the suffering souls of the dead. Allen has both a cursed eye and an anti-Akuma weapon as an arm, bearing the power of "Innocence," a gift given to him as an apostle of God. Allen, along with his fellow Exorcists must put a stop to the Millennium Earl's ultimate plot that could lead to the destruction of the world and all who live on it.

Great first episode. Definitely not a wasted episode. Very nostalgic seeing this. Great animation and I love the incorporation of blood now.

I'm surprised to see most of the characters still sound the same, even though every single character had an actor change. Only a couple characters have sounded a little different so far, that including the main character Allen Walker who doesn't sound like a little kid anymore.

Spoiler (Click to View)Holy fuck the end to that episode though. Did they really just kill Cross off?! It kind of sucks though but I'm going to need to go back and re-watch D.Gray-man to get a full understanding of the story again.

[Dark_Sniper]

For sure have to go back and re-watch the original run. I'm so lost... it's been like 8 years or something.

[Chips Ahoy McCoy]

Yooooooo, I can't wait to watch this! I loved D.Gray-Man so much back in the day. I still remember that damn cliffhanger they left me on to this day.

[Mafty Navue Erin]

Great new episode. Finally we get to see some action.

Did a bit of digging though and found out Hallow most likely won't be the anime finisher. I'm going to wing it and guess that Hallow will cover at least these next 2-3 arcs. Which should be enough to bring it on par with the manga or damn close. After that I'm guessing we'll see another new anime season that covers anything that happens next. Pretty good to know the story isn't finished yet. Makes Hallow being only 13 episodes a lot less disappointing now.

Holy shit! Amazing new episode. Loving the animation.
Spoiler (Click to View)That new character Timothy is pretty cool. I really like his Innocence ability.

HOLY SHIT though. When Allen partially transformed into the 14th I about lost my shit.

Good news for dubbed viewers though. FUNimation has purchased a license for Hallow. Not only that but they also purchased a license to dub the last 52 episodes of the original series.

This episode gave me a headache. There was too much information for my brain to process. I do like how we finally get to see all the Noah clansmen though. What the fuck is up with Tyki's new design though? He's the only character I wish would've kept the old design.

Welp looks like we're entering the Third Exorcists/Kanda arc now.

[Mafty Navue Erin]

Okay this episode was lit af. That moment when Spoiler (Click to View)Allen went full Noah and declared his plan to become the new Earl was intense.

[Mafty Navue Erin]

I always thought Kanda was a dick, but now I have a new fond respect for him. The Second Exorcist plan was fucked up.

[3v3ryManJack]

OMG yes finally this is out! it has been a while and I really lost hope there until I saw the announcement. I just hope the story line keeps going strong.

[Mafty Navue Erin]

Another good episode as always. I can't wait to see this battle. It kind of sucks but I was looking at the story arcs and it really doesn't seem like we'll see another season animated for a while since the manga is not too many chapters ahead. Nonetheless I'm glad that I'm getting to watch this right now.

I just wish more AA members appreciated this anime.

[lovrinjo8]

i don't really watch anime i am more of a pokemon guy

[Mafty Navue Erin]

I seriously can't control myself right now. Newest episode was so intense. I love Alma Karma's character design. I also flipped shit when Spoiler (Click to View)Allen transformed again.

Also I get goosebumps every time that opening starts.

[Mafty Navue Erin]

Some questions were answered this latest episode. That Kanda x Alma moment was pretty gay though.
Spoiler (Click to View)Even though their original selves were male and female, that dying moment was still pretty gay lol.
It was pretty sad what happened to them though. Respecting Kanda more now.

Sucks that Allen Walker is getting alienated by that Hitler-looking guy though. All these Crows are cunts.

[Fidel Castro]

One of my top anime in my mega-huge list, I'm inlove with the series, i get so hyped when i watch them though.. <3
Btw watching the 9'th episode now, would definitely recommend the anime to people that have a good taste : )

~Cheers!
