Hey there,
I've been having trouble installing Kali Linux on my Desktop PC (I really shouldn't be having trouble as it's my 5th time installing Kali but this time is different...)
Upon being asked whether or not I'd like a Network Mirror, I select yes and a few minutes of waiting leads me to an error suggesting I have a "Bad Network Mirror"
Things to point out;
So yeah, pretty annoying. I'm kind of hoping that somebody on here will have experienced the same issue and will be able to lead me down the right path.
Any replies are appreciated.

Upon being asked whether or not I'd like a Network Mirror, I select yes and a few minutes of waiting leads me to an error suggesting I have a "Bad Network Mirror"
Things to point out;
- I've installed Kali Linux on this network before and my network is fine for installing Kali Linux
- I have a good connection to internet whilst I'm trying it
- I have tried not using a mirror then updating Kali with "apt-get update / apt-get upgrade" commands but to no avail
- I've searched around the internet and can't seem to find a solution...
- I've tried changing my mirror source url to numerous different mirror urls but again, to no avail.
So yeah, pretty annoying. I'm kind of hoping that somebody on here will have experienced the same issue and will be able to lead me down the right path.

Okay so...
- Don't install network mirrors, install as normal without them.
- Boot up Kali
- Go to the devices tab (top of VM) > then network > network settings
- Change NAT to Bridged Adapter also check 'cable connected' box
- Go to your computer files > etc > networkmanager > open networkmanager conf
- change 'false' value within the file to 'true' > save
- open up a command shell and type 'service network-manager restart'
- then type 'ifconfig' > you should have some IP/DNS settings there with actual values
- if you have actual values then good job, you can go use the internet on Kali ;)
