Vercrypt over Truecrypt, it's been like that for a long time now, and however i don't use it much anymore i also went from Truecrypt to Veracrypt.

Veracrypt is better than Truecrypt nowadays, however I do not use either as it vastly reduces the performance if you game a lot (which is what nearly all my drives I have are used for).

Truecrypt is no longer being developed, so you should be using Veracrypt. A recent audit of the code found some critical vulnerabilities inherited from Truecrypt and they're already fixed in Veracrypt.

Well, once i have used Disk Cryptor (based on True Crypt) and in final stage of encryption app just froze and then i've received BSoD
After reboot my password never worked again, just lost everything on drive. That's why I advise against TrueCrypt familly

I use Veracrypt, I just find it superior to Truecrypt.
