$120+ GONE..I am so frustrated with coinbase right now... read this if you use them

I've been using coinbase for a very long time. I made my account over a year and a half ago and stopped using it for a long time and recently started using it again. My first problem was that my buying limit was stuck at $60 a day and then after my first buy went down to $15 and got stuck there. The only way to raise my limits it said was to buy $900+ worth of bitcoins (goes down gradually I dont have to buy all at once).... I sent a ticket explaining that I sell BTC and that I really need my limits raised because at the rate of $15 every 24 hours it would take me forever to even fix reach the $900. They reply saying wait 2 business days and haven't gotten back to me, it's been almost a week. So I made a new ticket asking for a reply and still nothing after 2 days. Now the weird thing is today both of my tickets say updated 7/15 but there isn't a response and the icing on the cake... my PayPal debit card I have added as one of my cards which is the one I use the most RANDOMLY GETS CHARGED $27. Yeah.... I log into my PayPal expecting about $60 and have $33....! I have sent in a ticket about it. I saw a case on google where this happened and the guy waited over a month to get it resolved. I'll be reporting as unauthorized on PayPal if this is the case for me and just stop using them all together. If it wasn't for this random charge, I wouldn't have much of a problem and would have raised my limits by slow buying with my bank.... but this is absolutely horrible considering they don't even have a phone number to call. 😠
Coinbase has never had a SINGLE problem with me and I have been a loyal user and been fully verified for a very long time now. 🤦‍♂

EDIT: They charged my bank $59 for no reason also....

TOTAL STOLEN: $120

Very disappointed.
Yeah I just logged in today and the first thing that popped up was that I couldn't buy or sell BTC as a I'm limited and told me to contact them, knowing them it will take a week to get back to me and I'll have to wait probably 2 weeks now to get upgraded on here since I can't buy BTC from them.

I don't know why they would go a route like this and not stay professional I would imagine they could make a ton of money they seemed so legit. I just really don't understand with how much verification I went through and how old my account is with so many purchases. I've never given them a single problem as far as card chargeback or anything. 🤦‍♂
I just bought and sent BTC to an HF user a few minutes ago. Everything went smoothly. I am a fully verified user and my daily buy limit is 3.000€ or 100€ if using a credit card. Daily sell limit is 3.000€ also. http://image.prntscr.com/image/a1c610844...ed4d77.png

This was all done when I first registered and it didn't even take me that long to set up. Maybe you should work on verifying yourself further.

I already did I even have the phone app and went through the ID verification. Bank and 2 cards added.... I don't know what else to do. 🤦‍♂

EDIT: And that still doesn't explain them stealing $27 and not even crediting my account....
Their CC and Debit card limits have always been $40 if I remember correctly. Your limits when buying with a bank account are much larger however. I have used Coinbase in nearly two years and my daily limit is currently $40 CC and $2,500 bank, per bank, $10,000 total. Sell limits are $10,000 daily. Idk about that random charge though.

I don't know I've verified down to my dam shoe size on the site. If they don't reply within 3 days would it be faster to report as unauthorized on PayPal?
CoinBase is a wannabe paypal. its horrible
I buy Amazon Gift Cards & Crypto for CashApp. PM me if you're selling

I don't have experience with their support so I can't say for sure, but reporting it as unauthorized may make things worse. It may get your CB account closed. You'll probably lose the dispute because while you didn't exactly authorize that payment, you did set up automatic withdrawals with them and PayPal may not see it the same way you do. And an unauthorized dispute may take over 2 weeks, win or lose. I'd keep poking at their support.

This is why I enjoy a offline wallet and exchanging only on HF. 🤝
So new update. I just found out today they charged my bank debit card $59 for now reason and set my account negative. Luckily I caught it before the fee tonight.

I've sent tickets explaining I'll be filing unauthorized claims very soon. This is very disappointing and going to be a headache I don't need. Now I see why they don't have a phone number. 🤦‍♂
I created a thread about this, I warned you all.

Switch to other wallet as soon as possible before they "EMAIL YOU and ask about your bitcoin activities"
You know exchanges are not allowed with Coinbase as of their terms. However I have no idea why they charged you.

Somewhat understandable. Imagine trying to give a BTC address over the phone.

NEW UPDATE:

My situation with coinbase has just gotten worse. As you can imagine after this incident I deleted all my payment methods on coinbase to protect them. I removed both of my cards and my bank account. I thought this would help prevent this from happening again and I opened another support ticket explaining my situation and that I have removed my payment methods. Time goes by and of course nothing, so I check my coinbase today and my ticket once again says updated but no reply... I log into my PayPal and THEY RE-ADDED MY CARD WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. In both my PayPal and bank account I had the micro transactions you get when you first add your card to coinbase that say "VERIFY" to verify your card but yet my cards aren't listed on my account. They couldn't charge my bank again thank god but managed to charge my PayPal again. Here's a screenshot of the verify card payments on my bank (EVEN THOUGH I NEVER RE-ADDED MY CARD) and the PayPal payment also. In total they have taken well over $120+ dollars from me with absolutely no explanation.

Luckily PayPal has given me amazing support and actually already credited my account for most of the money that was lost and I assume the rest is on it's way. My bank however is a whole different story. They said it can take up to 90 days for a result and on top of that I had to cancel my PayPal and bank debit card and close my bank account and re-open a new one since I had my bank information on coinbase as well. I am no waiting 7-14 business days for my card and 7-10 for my new PayPal card. This is all a very frustrating experience and I have no idea what the hell is wrong with coinbase at the moment. I advise everyone to steer clear of them for now and if anyone has any odd experiences with them please post about it to get the word out. There isn't much you can find on google about coinbase but if this kind of behavior proceeds it certainly needs to be addressed. I almost feel an employee is stealing money or something because it's just so weird my tickets are being marked as updated with no reply and with how much traffic coinbase gets I don't think they are short on funds enough to steal.
