Why was my temp ban made Perma? Any chance here at all? (@mods)

@King Of Hearts, could you please not just close my thread, if I have to be perma banned I'll accept it, but I made this thread for the purpose of getting an explanation / discussing the perma ban, ideally from other mods given I'm guessing you're the one that perma banned me.

Anyhow I posted a thread here hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5354215

Long and short of the story is I made a thread looking for craigslist partnerships, but I did also ask for people's ebay feedback when people pm'ed me - ebay partnerships aren't allowed so I was rightfully temp banned for five days. My question really is though - is that enough to be perma banned? (My temp ban automatically turned into a perma ban after the 5 days). My partnerships were all legit digital products - anti virus and microsoft software. I've got about 10 people on skype now who're on HF that can vouch that they sold, made good money and had no issues throughout the whole process.

I've been here 6 years and I really like the forum, I'd hate to have to resort to a state where I'm using VPN's etc to simply access the parts of the forum I frequent like the programming forums. I accept my partnership thread broke the ebay rules, and I was more than happy to accept the 5 day ban. But I think the perma ban is a little overboard? The whole reason ebay partnerships aren't allowed is listed as 'because they're used for fraud' - but my partnerships were clean and I never scammed anyone - not through those partnerships or else wise. I'm more than happy to not post any more partnership threads for craigslist or any sites - just to be able to use the rest of the site. Would the original temp ban of 5 days be able to applicable, on the condition that anymore ebay partnerships = a perma ban? I thought that was the original case, but the temp ban for some reason just became a perma ban automatically. I've learnt my lesson and don't plan to post any of those any more, rather to just be a useful member of the community and enjoy the atmosphere here as I've done for many years. Any chance at all here?
Thanks
Creating this thread will just make things worse for you.

Also, King of Hearts told you to stop looking/making Ebay partnerships, yet you still continue to do so.

This thread will make things worse than a perma ban? How? And yes, I accept I broke the rules, I thought not advertising it publicly but telling people what we were doing over pms (again I stress it wasn't fraudulent which was the reason ebay partnerships were banned - but legitimate sales) would be passable - I tell them what we're selling (digital products - anti virus / microsoft), and then we go over onto skype etc and discuss different places we could sell.

But again I accept that that still violated the ebay partnerships rule - I accept that. The point of my post was purely because I feel like it's harsh for that to be the reason for a perma ban - given that I didn't scam anyone and actually made a lot of money for a lot of people (who I'm happy to get to vouch here through skype if requested). I really do like this forum and really just want to see from other mods (not sure if you're one or not) whether there's any chance here at all.
Selling digital goods that you're not licensed to sell like that is fraud.

Fraud in all forms is not allowed on this forum, hence the perma ban.

As mentioned at the start of my post, and in the previous post, I'm looking for responses from other mods given that KoH closed that other thread before I got any other responses and I'm assuming temp banned + perma banned me.
You mean well but it sounds like you were warned and still did it.
Nowadays? I'm just here for the nostalgia.

You don't need to be licensed to sell anti virus keys - I bought left over keys in bulk and sold them for a profit (still do). Likewise with Microsoft keys I work at a large PC market on Saturdays in London - one of the companies there is a second hand resller of PC's and laptops and extracts used Microsoft products from those PCs. If you own the PC you're legally allowed to sell the microsoft product given you know legally own that too - that's all I did. There's no fraud there.

Also the 'fraud in all forms isn't allowed' isn't really true though is it, given this is a hacking forum, full of crackers and other exploits - you only have to go to the marketplace to see the amount of (illegaly/fraudulently) cracked accounts being sold.

You were perm banned because you were warned once and continued to advertise partnerships in PM

Simply not allowed here. Read the Help Docs.
Looks like I forgot to ban you. Ebay partnerships are not allowed. Period. It doesn't matter if you think it is allowed for whatever reason.
