I know i can download windows 8.1 from Microsoft's website, but i remember a long time ago i tryed to install it on my computer and i had to type in a serial key in the installation and i tryed to add some ie.cfg or whatever into the source folder but it didnt work.
My friend needs a Windows 8.1 disk for he's new computer. So i just wanted to ask does anyone know a ISO file that will work 100% just to install, or that it atleast includes a key that does work, or no key at all but once everything is installed you have to use some sort of activator?
Sorry if it's retarded questions, but it seems like nowadays there's just to much virus n shit on every torrent site, i can't trust it anymore that's why im asking! So.. Im looking for a "Windows 8.1 PRO 64-bit" ISO file that can be burned, with the easiest activation method. Hopefully someone has time to help me out, thank's alot guys, cheers!

I suggest not using windows 8.1.
Download win 10 instead and there is easy activator for it, no problems.

I understand, however im not the one who wants the 10.. My friend had issues with GTA or some shit when he upgraded to 10 for free, then he got mad and decided to forever stick to 8.1.

Tell your friend 8.1 sucks & 10 sucks alot less.
Have a nice day & goodluck
As i said to the other guy, my friend had some problems on w10 and decided he didnt like it. But the diffrence beetween 8.1 and 10 is not so big that it even matters. Can you help me find a promising torrent for w10 and i might be able to convince him..? :S Thanks!

Again, it's not me who is sticking to 8, it's my Autistic friend. He dosen't care if he's computer starts up on 7 secounds or 25, thoose things simply does not matter to him. He dosen't care about the new retarded fetures that no one uses either. The computer he just bought is so good that he wont see a diffrence in switching, since the computer hes buying has really good components.
Im not trying to be rude or anything, but im just saying that my friend wanted 8.1 even though 10 is better, hes no programmer, hes just a simple gamer. However, i got very intrested when you are saying that the diffrence is "HUGE", can you link any video or website talking abot the major diffrences. If the diffrences isn't much in performance then it dosen't matter.
Goodluck & try to stay safe (haven't tried these torrents myself)

I do not know about videos, but you can look up them for yourself.
From my personal experience, what makes win 10 good is:
Much better performance.
It has much better appearance + you can customize so many stuff.
Keeps getting updated with even better stuff.
I just did it as quick review....there are probably other things too, but I do not see any pro about win 8.
Has no one ever told you that win 8 was a disaster?
I am just giving you honest advice. Obviously I can not force you to upgrade, but notice what I am saying...if you do not want to use it, don't.

Ya the difference is HUGE. Win 10 mines so much more tenementary data than 8 or 7 and still has compatibilty issues. Please dont listen to this guy. Keys go for cheap if u look in the right place. Like 3 dollars but cant be sold on HF.
Edit: Oh god. theres no hope for the both of u.
No wonder this section is dead as fuck
I'm pretty sure your "Autistic friend" sounds like he knows what he's doing.
lol bai

He probably had driver incompatibilities with Windows 10 and his graphics card (Desktop) or integrated video chipset (tablets/laptops). If its a modern computer (or at least the video card is a modern one) tell him to upgrade to Windows 10 and install the Windows 10 version of the video driver....
You can use media creation tool to build a .iso image you can burn to a DVD or you can create a USB installer. Since he had his machine already upgraded to Windows 10, its been activated by Microsoft and can be upgraded without a product key.
As good as I know you can just SKIP the key-entering, please correct me if Im wrong
