PokeWatchers: Find Rare Pokemon in Real Time

Earlier today we decided to release our site for open beta testing. It is an additional resource to use when hunting and sniping rare Pokemon. We are still adding resources to increase the amount of Pokemon we find, but so far it's working decently. I'll be the first to admit that the site isn't ready for mass use, we still uncover bugs here and there, but I felt like releasing it to HF for trial use and to get feedback would be beneficial to PokeWatchers and HF.

• This site is not pulling coordinates from any public location, we scan and post Pokemon using our own resources, so you can use this along side other websites and sniping chats.
  


• Using PokeWatchers, you can easily copy coordinates with a single click on the coordinates themselves. This streamlines copying and pasting into Sniper clients to ensure you don't miss out on those soon to disappear Pokemon.
  


• View Pokemon directly on Google Maps and see the time remaining until they disappear. (https://i.imgur.com/FhjPtd0.png)
  


• The website is easy to read and organized to ensure you make it to the Pokemon you want before it's too late.

Remember this site is still in beta. We're increasing our site resources and our reach still. At times the list may not be as populated as we like. We're working on that. Especially over night when we're not on the maintain our scanning process, things slow down quite a bit. This will be improved over time, and we hope to have a populated list of at least 1-2 dozen Pokemon at all times. Maybe more in the future.

I just can't stress enough that this is still a heavy work in progress. The site may slow down immensely after I go to bed tonight, it may even die completely. It's not a viable replacement for anything yet, but it should begin to perform better and better over the course of this next week. Even right now I'm only running [s]1 out of 5[/s] various scanners, not all of them, so it's looking depressingly empty. I didn't want to release tonight but I figured waking up to some feedback would help.

It's a good alternative to pokesnipers.com, but why is there only 2 at a time?

I know the site looks depressingly empty right now. We're still looking for better ways to scan the world. It's very resource intensive so this should improve over time.

Awesome project you're working on. I know it looks lackluster to some right now, but I can see this being really big. Keep up the good work dude, I would love to see this turn into something special.

We have had up to 20 on there before, but right now we're not running all of our scanners and the scanners that we are running aren't getting a lot of hits. Ideally we'll always have 1-2 dozen Pokemon on there. It's something that will improve with time.

I appreciate the feedback so far. It will take a fair bit of time until things are at the point that I'm happy with. The site will be up and down, populated and depopulated over time, but hopefully by this time next week it's all running smooth and steady.

And for some reason Jynx's seem to be everywhere. It's always popping up!
