I've been working on a theme for my forum, was planning on purchasing it but I figured I could at least attempt to make something myself. It's not too much as I'm on and off when it comes to working on it. But here's what I have so far:

Welcome Guest/Member block was inspired by a 1.6 theme. This is being "coded" on 1.8  :) as you might be able to tell, there's still a lot of work to be done on it. What you see here literally is all I've done on the theme and there's a ton of more pages and things to get to. One at a time. This is just for fun, and I do it in my spare time. If I do end up just paying a designer for a Custom Theme I'll probably try to release this so others can use it. I'm a total noob with coding so I've been going  off of Tutorials, Help from people on the MyBB Community forum, and Experience with making this.

I'd like some feedback if you guys think you'd use a forum that has this theme, or not. So I can know if I should finish the theme or just go pay someone for a custom one.

ALSO; No I am not Blue the old owner of Discussion Zone, I'm just someone whose recreating a forum using that name. I spoke with him and have permission and all that, omni knows as well.

Looks good. I feel like you should change the welcome block though, seems kinda boring and simple.

Yeh its quite boring and generic.

Heres what I've done to completely make my forum look different.

I'm going for a simple look like hackforums has, something that's not too complex and easy to use that's why. It wold just be the starter theme is all. I'll go for something mind blowing once it grows pretty big. Why spend hundreds on a custom theme if you're not sure if the forum will be a success or not yet.
