After applying for a few jobs within company I finally got a promotion. I was a GeekSquad consultation agent since 16 (youngest ever hired) I have now been promoted to an Advanced repair agent at my local store so I no longer have to be the "face" of GeekSquad and talk to every person. Just simply do the actual repairs. The pay is so much better and it's for sure a way better job.

The last time I spoke to a geek squad agent I got brain cancer. I've never cringed/triggered as much as that day and that's why I think 90% of Geeksquad agents are as casual as most tech YouTubers (MKBHD). They like large numbers and more cores.

Congratulations on the promotion. Hard work pays off. Although, I have to say Geek Squad is one of biggest bunch of rip off artists in electrical repair. Bought a TV with warranty and the GS protection plan and they couldn't even replace it when it got nicked and wanted me to shove out over $300 in repairs for something I thought I already paid for.

Our pay range for ara Is 12-21$ an hour
The front is 10.50-14 I believe.
I can agree GeekSquad can be a rip off but I am honest with customers. Also it's a good job and does look good on most resumes
