If you could choose any super power or special ability, what would you choose, and why?

I would choose the ability to stop time, while I can still move.
Imagine standing in Times Square and taking $10 from every person's wallet for an hour or two. That's some serious cash without seriously hurting anyone financially.

I'd like the ability to heal others. I could be both magnanimous or I could go for profit. I'd stay underground though and keep my clientèle very small. I'd heal the incredibly rich for money and earn enough to heal the sick and needy that deserved it.

I'd go the opposite of what Omni said and have the ability to kill anybody with just the desire to do so. Think about it. You are basically a god at that point. They die of heart attack or whatever, and since you don't have to be anywhere near the person to use this power you can't be linked to it. Unless someone knows your little secret.
