Last week I attended a 7-day Red HatEnterprise Linux 7 Course that was instructed by a invidicual that has
given over 150 courses + Exams with a 70% pass rate. At the end of the class here was some of the tips I found useful!
Preparing for the exam:
#1.Know the objectives
#2.List of procedures
#3.Practice.. Practice.... PRACTICE! -use the practice exams
#4.Explore the Man pages -become familiar
Below are some general tips during the exam:
#1.Read all objectives carefully -nuff said
#2.Do all the easy stuff first -Objectives are evenly scored so make sure not to get hung up
on the earlier questions, you can always come back and tackle them.
#3.Double check all work after you reboot the machine -The proctor will reboot the machine
and some individuals have failed due to changes not being applied after reboot.
#4.Ask if you have any questions -The testing proctor can't give you the answers of course
but they can add clarity to any of the questions that you have.
