There are courses for hacking costing about $49. I wonder if that could lead to getting me certified? Where do I get certified? Is there a "board of examination for ethical hackers" so that way in case I want a job with an agency I can prove that I am a certified ethical hacker?
are those lessons from PC WORLD about hacking any good? |

Don't take those courses, lol.
There are some good paid options for them, but honestly http://cybrary.it/ has free courses that are designed to get certain certifications. Save your money and use it to pay for the certifications. ![]()
PC World is selling courses for about $49 for the Ethical Hacking course. Did you check out their website? I can't post links right now. How much do certifications cost? Is CREST "accredited" and not just some random online company giving out paper towel certifications (i.e. useless, etc.). I would assume if one is a master at hacking, no certification would even matter. LOL. But just in case I need to become a government employee and need something to show for (like certifications, etc.).
Good call and thanks!
But aren't those community college associate degrees also good (to get a career or hired any way)? (Sep 7, 2016 08:42 AM)FractumSeraph Wrote: Don't take those courses, lol. |
