Is there a way to export contacts that I don't have in my contact list, but found them in the directory of my facility? something like this:

Are you a member of a domain? Also are you using the Outlook desktop client or some online service? Depending on the setup, you can use the net or ds utilities in CMD.

I'm not sure what those domains are, but probably yeah since it's university email.
Currently I'm using the online website: login.microsoftonline.com but can use Outlook 2016 if needed.

Do you have it where when you go to send an email, you can search up others that aren't in your contacts? In that case, use Outlook 2016 because this is a kind of resource heavy. Otherwise, the browser may crash on you.

  1. Go into your contacts and create a new group. Add all your current contacts to this new group.

  2. File > Info > Expand Account settings. Click 'Download address book.' Ok.

  3. On the Home tab, you'll see "Address Book" in the top right corner. Click it. Expand the Address Book option and use the Global list you just downloaded.

  4. Shift click the first email, shift click the last email. With all selected, right click and select add as contacts (hint: why we put your old contact in a safe spot). Let it process, it will take some time.

  5. Then you go File > Open & Export > Import/Export > Export to File > Comma delimited > Contacts > and FINALLY Export. Now you have a Excel friendly spreadsheet.

You can also use the Office365 Powershell and Windows Azure AD DS modules. It's quite a powerful, yet complicated. Read about it HERE

Yes, I have them when I try to send an email and click the To button, however they don't show in contacs, have to open the directory as in the image.
That seems pretty good, prefer doing it the PS way since it's programmable and I'll probably need to do it couple times, is it possible to do them in patches since it's like over 10k+ contacts??

I would added the contact in chucks for that amount.

I forgot to add that the powershell method only works for certain versions of Office 365 and it you have to be an admin of the domain. (Says it on the page linked.) I do IT intern work for my college, so we have an account to do querying and whatnot. If you're just a student, it won't work. Though depending on their network, you maybe able to do some LDAP Injection to get it to spew user info; for educational purposes of course.

uh damn, not an admin there QQ. looks like I'm back to do it manually, or semi automatic if I get a JS to do it when I open the page.

There has to be a way. If Outlook can display those emails in the client, without admin, then we should be able to access them using other means.

I'll start poking around for other methods if your still looking?

I got a bit busy with new tasks at work, this one is a side project for my self, you don't need to go out of your way to look for it, your help was enough to put me in the right direction.

Thanks for your time ^.^
