I've always been kinda embarrassed to say I genuinely like Coldplay.

I'm a metal head. But ever since I was a kid I've liked Coldplay. I'd never admit it, like ever. But almost every song they've made i've liked (they got some bad ones so that's why i've said almost).

Who else likes them? They get a lotta hate for being that stereotypical pop band but I don't know. Every now and then I like to turn off the serious, hard, shit I listen to constantly and play some Coldplay.

It's a shame that everybody is ashamed of listening to Coldplay.
To me, they were THE band of the '00s. Seriously, AROBTTH is one of the most outstanding albums of all time

only difference is: I don't listen to metal, haha

I wouldn't say THE band of the 2000's but they were definitely there. Clocks, Yellow, Viva la Vida. So many songs that are hits. Clocks is still a school band staple.
