This raccoon fucked with the wrong person today

We had just finished a lovely dinner at a local Mexican restaurant / tequila bar. We went to my friend Amy's car. Amy buckled her daughter Lilly (2 yrs) into her car seat, and my friend Jon and I were already sitting in the car.

All of a sudden, Amy screams and runs away from the car.
I tell Jon, "Ha, she's probably super scared of bugs," and we brush it off as her overreacting.
However, she then screams "something bit my foot! something under the car!"
I hop out and shine my phone's flash light under the car. There was a raccoon underneath. "There's a fucking raccoon!" I yell.
Jon jumps out of the car and runs away from it.

Unfortunately, Lilly's car door was open. The raccoon jumped into the car with the small 2 year old girl. Lilly was absolutely still and didn't say a word as she stared into the raccoon's eyes. The raccoon stares back. I start cussing at the animal to get it to start looking at me instead of my friend's daughter. It works and the raccoon stops paying attention to Lilly.

I then run around the car and slowly come up to Lilly's open door. The raccoon's tail is barely poking out the door, and it's still looking out the open door at Amy and Jon who were still standing a little bit away from the car. I realized it would be better for me, an athletic rugby player, to fight the raccoon rather than it attacking Lilly.

I grabbed the raccoon's tail and yanked it out of the car. I slammed Lilly's door shut as the raccoon hit the ground. It turned around, staring at me. I didn't run or let it know I was frightened and it started cowering. It backed underneath the car. I spent a minute trying to scare it out, and I even picked up a giant rock just in case it tried to attack. When it finally came out and started coming towards me, I threw the rock, but missed the raccoon. It hung around for a little bit, but when I finally scared it away (it went underneath a truck nearby) I got into the car with Lilly and drove the car away a bit.

Anyways, this raccoon learned its lesson today. Hopefully it won't think about fucking with other small children or families again.
"I realized it would be better for me, an athletic rugby player" SO CRINGEY
I apologize to everyone truly. I didn't do what I did just for the hell of it. Family needed food and a roof.

That's not how I normally talk. I decided to write this story like it would be submitted to an English professor. I have been writing a bunch of papers recently, so at this point it is a habit. Additionally, using proper descriptions with appropriate comma usage seemed beneficial to the story.

For the record though, I do consider myself an athletic rugby player. I have played rugby for almost my entire life, and I am in my twenties now. I still play and we recently won (48-0) a good match just yesterday afternoon.
Thats a L. You're suppose to catch the racoon so they can test it for rabies, does she know she has to go to the hospital and start rabies shots IMMEDIATELY. I really hope you're trolling.

Also rugby is A1, it was my favorite sport in college what position do you play?

Don't worry, that's where they went right after.
She should be fine because the raccoon was out at night and was most likely just trying to stay warm. The car was somewhat warm at the time and the night was frigid in this area today. So it made sense that the raccoon did what it did. Lastly, it was very timid and frightened after I pulled its tail which suggests it most likely does not have rabies. That said, it's always possible and I'm glad Amy and her fiance went to the hospital tonight.

Well, I usually move around. I play prop, sometimes flanker, and sometimes 8man. It just depends, but I primarily play as a prop. They like to put me in as flanker or 8 when we want a bigger scrum. I'm fairly fast for my size (6' 235lb).
I played hooker for 3 seasons in 6th grade over in England.
In 7th and 8th I played as prop, still in England.
I mostly played prop, but also some flanker and 8man for high school in America.
After high school, I went to play in Australia with the University of Queensland. I played alongside many professional players and future Wallabies, which was great experience for me. The first month of it sucked because I got my ass kicked and they were better than I. Although I had years of rugby experience, Australian players were simply far better than any Americans I had come across.
I didn't play much when I came back from Australia, but trained as prop with my university team for a short while.
I most recently played as prop in the game yesterday. I'm coming back from a break, but I will be playing year round with this club (7s in summer). The team's pretty good - they won this past national championship for the division. I'm excited to be back on the pitch. The 48-0 win yesterday (with my club's B team) was amazing. It was my first game with the team, and I'm coming back from a 4 year break, but I somehow managed to impress the coaches. I had a hangover and only slept for around 4-5 hours, so the fact that the coaches were happy with my performance is great. Clearly rugby is like riding a bicycle. I literally hadn't touched a rugby ball in over a year, and hadn't practice/played in a game in 4. I'm so psyched because I have no doubt I'll be on the A team by the end of October.

Yeah, I had to go to the hospital recently for a dog bite, rabies is no joke. Hope she ends up alright.

This was literally the video I was thinking of as this went down.
I thought to myself, "Well, that one guy picked up that raccoon and threw it to save his dog... and I'm saving a child, so fuck it," as I grabbed the coon's tail.
I'm so glad this video popped up on reddit yesterday because it quite literally gave me the balls to pull this off tonight.

Prop mainly, sometimes 8 and flanker.
I live over in Connecticut, USA right now.
Who we play / what we do changes throughout the year. In the Summer for example, we play 7s.
We're in Fall 2016 season, so we're playing the same teams as last year.
