In short, I'm building a fully "functional" operating system.
Goals:

• Full window/form support
  


• Filesystem support
  


• At some point, a JVM implementation
  

Currently I have super basic forms and windows (can't really be manipulated bar clicking), and basic mouse events (MouseButtonPressedEvent, MouseButtonReleasedEvent).

Clicking a button, feedback is the button changing colour.

This is really just a fun little project. Will be posting periodic updates on here.

Your goals are way to high to be achievable. Well they are, but they are going to cause a lot of pain, tear you a new asshole, tear your family apart, cause stress, and eventually suicide.
But seriously, don't do all that shit in Cosmos. It is super inefficient and just not worth it.

Well aware. I'm doing it as a learning experience. I'm not looking to create the next Windows or anything, I'm doing it so that I can learn, and hopefully others can too.
If someone (including myself) learns even a tiny bit because of this, then it would all be worth it.

Hey !
In your OS, will u implent a CLI ? By this way I would know if u're trying to make just a program which show windows or if u will create a real operating system (just to learn for sure) with a console etc..
If u do, I will take some of my time to look that dude !
