Every day or every couple days there's always a new case of a member losing their 2FA. I just wanted to make this post as more of a reminder, and hopefully, maybe you'll notice something before you lose access.
Do you currently have 2FA Enabled?
If no, why not? You're more prone to getting hacked and closed. It takes 5 minutes tops to have amazing account security not only here, but most popular online services also offer 2FA for accounts. I highly recommend Authy: https://www.authy.com/
If you do have 2FA enabled, do you use Authy or Google Authenticator?
If you're using Google Auth, I highly suggest switching to Authy. Authy has both desktop and a mobile application which do cloud backups if you ever lose your phone or computer, or even both in some rare chance. You can get the desktop version here: https://www.authy.com/
If you do use Authy or still using Google Auth and you have 2FA enabled, go verify it now to make sure it's still working. No idea why it wouldn't, but it doesn't hurt to do 5 seconds of work to make sure.
Just been too lazy to use it and to be completely honest i just havent been worried im fairly safe and never download anything off HF so the chance that someone gets my account is slim anyway.
But ill probably do it just in case the most random thing ever happens so i dont get repkilled and closed among other horrible things

One slip up is all it takes until you can be vulnerable to getting your account stolen. Why waste it all away just from one bit of safety.

What about downloading Authy on your desktop? Or even downloading something like Bluestacks, getting Authy on there and using that. Enabling backups will also mean it's linked to your Authy account so you wouldn't lose the code.
I have Bluestacks on my PC but I guess I'm not understanding how it would work. If I somehow lose my PCs files through whatever reason, wouldn't I then lose the 2FA forever? Or do you login to some Authy account?

From my understanding of Authy, Authy has cloud backups and you also sign in with a username and password. Even if you delete/lose access on authy, you can redownload and everything that's backed up to the cloud will come back.
