Encrypting Virtual-Box

Can you use veracrypt to encrypt virtual-box or do you have to use the built in encryption function?
I'm just looking for the best security
You can use anything you want. Just install the software inside the vm and click encrypt
Fuck bitches, then we die.
I just run an LVM encrypted Ubuntu machine, I find that works for me very well.

Oh ok cool thank you very much for that it'll most likely make it run extremely slow but oh well.

I wouldn't think it is needed, but I guess I can see your concern.🤝

being a VM yes it would get slower faster.
I personally use VMWare which has an encryption thing of it's own that I use. If you don't mind starting over, or looking up how to switch from vbox to vmware(i don't think it's terribly hard from the tutorials I've seen) you could go and try it.

Virtual-Box has its own encryption tool built in as well it's just the thing are these encryptions really even safe?

Im not sure about vbox because I don't use it, and I haven't found anyone to try and rip my vm apart with the encrypted part enabled but I suppose if you use a very long password with symbols and shit, you'll be good.
use strong generator website

I just tried to use the encryption function within virtual-box but it doesn't work I'm on linux so I possibly need to download something extra I have no idea
