Unable to sign in to to gauth/authy. Been waiting for about a month for any help but apparantly obody wants to help because it's my own fault, even though I can literally prove everything in 2 minutes

I don't even remember activating gauth or how it works. I can see a related app on my phone though but I have no idea what to enter. My HF has been logged in in my browser for months and I never had to do anything with it.

It just seems so shitty that this is how it has to end after 7 fucking years, just because 'it's your own fault'.. :/

You probably set a master password on your gauth app, try unlock the app then find your HF profile in there and when you login, enter the code.

Maybe Omni could consider issuing a pecuniary punishment, whereby any members that lose Gauth access have to make a payment of $50 for wasting his time reinstating their account.

Honestly not that bad of an idea, he's a busy dude and should be paid for his time.

If members value their account they will either secure it properly or pay to get it back.

Don't think it's something Omniscient would consider doing though tbh.

I remember way back when Gauth was first implemented and my phone got unexpectedly seized by police. I contacted Omni and he reinstated my HF account, so I sent him $50 as a courtesy.
