cannot access internet in kali linux through virtual box

I cannot access the internet on kali linux through virtual box. I installed virtualbox. Then created a DHCP server with 9 other IPS. (vboxmanage dhcp server add --netname mydhcpnetwork --ip 10.10.10.1 --netmask 255.255.255.0 --lowerip 10.10.10.2 --upperip 10.10.10.10 enable)
I then installed kali linux on virtual box. Then in Virtualbox network settings adapter 1 is attached to internal network, mydhcpnetwork. adapter 2 is set to NAT. during the kali install it asked to configure the network and gave me a choice of eth3 or eth8 i tried eth3 first but it could not finish the install because it couldnt connect to the internet. I went back and choose eth8 which worked and the kali install finished. kali boots up fine but i cannot access the internet. On boot i get the error message "intel_rapl : no valid rapl domains found in package (0)" I dont know if it is relevant, everyone online says it is merely cosmetic. On the command line i tried (dhclient -v) and it says...

"Listening on LPF/eth0/08:00:27:64:ca:bb
sending on LPF/eth0/08:00:27:64:ca:bb
DHCprequest of 10.10.10.2 on eth0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67
DHCpack of 10.10.10.2 from 10.10.10.1
smbd.service is not active, cannot reload
invoke-rc.d: initscript smbd, action "reload" failed
RTNETLINK answers file exists
Bound to 10.10.10.2 -- renewal in 535 seconds"

so i put into the command line (service smbd restart) and do (dhclient -v) again, The read out is the same just with out the "smbd.service is not active, cannot reload. Invoke-rc.d: initscript smbd, action "reload"failed" but i have to enter (service smbd restart) every time I boot kali in virtualbox.
I tried (if config eth0 up) (dhclient eth0) and it says "RTNETLINK Answers file exists".
I tried editing (gedit /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf) and changed false to true. then (service network-manager restart)
still nothing.
(ping www . google . com) "name or service not found"

(ping 10.10.10.2) "pinging 10.10.10.2 56(84) bits of data" and does a readout that doesnt stop.

(cat /etc/network/interfaces)

any help would be great.

I resolved this issue. It will not allow me to delete the thread.
Hello , i was using Vmware too with kali and some linux os!
But i dont recommend it anymore , because it has a lot of limitations , kali has some reasons that you can boot it live..
So i recommend you to install it to USB 3.0 over 4GB, and it will work perfectly , without needed to download network drivers , that are hard to find and install..

If you really want to work with it and save everything as an OS, i suggest you to DualBoot with Windows, or if you have a laptop that u dont use that much , Install as as Primar operative system!

Glad it's fixed.
