Is there any way to chance a phone number attached to a steam account without the phone number or without contacting steam support? I have at least 7 steam accounts linked to an old phone number that I don't have access to because I lost access to that phone number. Is there any way to spoof the number possibly to get the SMS code sent to me?

My only other option would be to try to contact the current holder of the phone number and ask them to forward the SMS codes to me if they are willing. But that is my last resort here.

Edit: Title is supposed to be: "How can I change a phone number on a steam account without that phone number?" I clicked enter too early.

I don't know if that is possible. GL finding an answer!

Sorry to say its impossible without the recovery code.
You need the recovery code to change / disable steam auth , contacting steam will not help you i guess.
Sorry but you're stuck.

I wasn't trying to disable steam mobile authentication. I have that disabled. The phone number is still linked to the account afterwards and you can't remove it without sending a SMS to the phone number.

I do not have any problems with the steam authentication just to make this thread clear.

Still impossible if you dont have the phone on your hands.
