Hi guys I've build a new PC from from scratch. It turns on with all the fans running and will make the sound of it reading a cd but nothing else just a black screen. I have checked everything is plugged in correctly and it is. I've unplugged the graphics card to see if that was the case but it seems not. Please help btw I know I need to install the os I just can't get there yet.
Edit. Doesn't make a beep too

Take your graphics card off and boot it without the card, remember to plug your hdmi/w/e to your MB.

Here are some of the potential sources in random order:
1) Defective RAM, GPU, PSU, or CPU.
2) Missing CPU or GPU power auxiliaries.
3) Primary graphics setting in the BIOS is set to igfx instead of pcigfx. (Reset CMOS.)
4) Using wrong channel configuration for multiple memory modules.
5) Loose or faulty display cables.
6) Poorly socketed CPU.
7) Short circuit.
Try running it bare minimum - no gpu if you have integrated graphics and 1 stick of RAM in single channel. Reset CMOS. Note, if your mobo is much older or used, you may need to update the BIOS to support the CPU.
Just tried that. Here are some photos of the computer. https://imgur.com/a/pBSmL

I mean does your monitor act like it gets a signal which is black screen from your MB or it says no signal?

It just says no signal. Tried the hdmi in the md and gpu slot.

Try VGA or DVI if your MB doesn't have drivers for HDMI 🤝

I wish that was the case. I have already tried vga and dvi. Just don't have a clue what's wrong. I've googled it and everything.

I'm not a PC expert as my friend build my PC.

I googled this one, try it. It sounds weird that your MB gets power but can't give signal.
First image clearly shows that your 4 pin cable from the PSU isn't connected...
There should be a 8pin cable labelled CPU that splits into 2 4 pin connectors which go in the connector near the top left of the motherboard,

I guess it is a problem with your Power supply. Do you Have enough Voltage for what your pc needs?

Everything turns on but the thing is still off right? Did you connect the power button wires correctly?
Mind showing a picture on the inside of what your PC looks like?
