Java custom cursors

I'm making a paint game and I want to make it so that when the user clicks on for example the button to draw a square, there will be a small square icon in replacement of the cursor.
The built in cursors for the MouseActionListener interface don't really have what I'm looking for is there a way I can make my own and use it?

Possibly provide an example of creating one if there is? 🤝

That is what i use for my program

frame.setCursor(null); to change back to normal
Thanks for the suggestion but we finished up with that project. I'll be able to use it for future reference though ty
