tl;dr: The method is public, old, and also illegal.
I sent this user $30 for the so called "Free xbox gold method". It was bullshit. Not only did it include social engineering and lying to obtain codes, but it included other things such as scamming, deceit, and was blackhat and illegal. I was refused a refund, even though I clearly stated I would not affiliate myself with such garbage. Not to mention, this is the same method being sold by others members, for less. As well, the gift cards aren't free as the user stated.

Edit: I forgot to say, this user most likely lied about the speed of the method as well, stating it took hi 5 minutes to get 2 cards. He then told me it takes time and effort after I bought it, saying it took him a week to get 4 cards. I cannot believe I was fooled.
Could you please take a screenshot of the private messages in HF, to see if it's him?

Also, depending on someone's morals, I put in a method for everyone.
I put in a completely whitehat method which you could've followed bud.
You haven't even tried the method and you demand a refund.
I refused a refund because you didn't even put the littlest of effort to try it - you literally bought it and said you're not doing it so I should refund you.
Also, the social engineering wasn't discussed on site as you know yourself and I explained in the screenshot.

Ugh, please don't lie.
I never said it took me a week to get 4 cards. Show me the screenshot where I specifically said it took me a week to get 4 cards.
Also, it did take me 5 minutes to get 2 of the cards.
Time and effort will obviously need to put in on the first go since it'll be your first time doing it.
It's like presenting words to a person who used to be deaf - it's completely new to them.

Not one part of this is whitehat. I refuse to try an illegal method. I don't care if it works or not, I'd like to keep a good reputation with the company, and not risk being banned. My morals do not match at all with this scummy method that includes ripping off Xbox as a company.
