Netflix Launches Downloads for Offline Viewing on Smartphones, Tablets
This week Netflix has finally given subscribers what they have been asking for for years. You can now download movies and TV shows to your device for offline viewing. Besides streaming, you can now download your movies and watch them on the go without using data bandwidth or when you have limited or no access to internet. The new update now shows a download button in the details section of a TV show or movie and there is a menu which shows all programs that can be downloaded. Currently not all shows are available to be downloaded from the offline catalog, but they will add more movies and shows which can be downloaded later. The catalog includes but is not limited to Netflix Originals such as Nacros, Orange Is the New Black, House of Cards, and Stranger things as well as shows not produced by Netflix such as Breaking Bad, The Office, and Supernatural. While there are many shows available for offline viewing, some classics such as Fuller House and Gilmore Girls as well as Marvel Originals like Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Daredevil are excluded.

Adblock Plus wins its 6th court case
Eyeo GmbH, the company that owns Adblock has been placed in a German court yet again. This time the case was brought to trial by publishers who say that blocking online ads violated German law. A 26-year old Bitcoin entrepreneur was handed prison time, and the experience only confirmed his belief in the cryptocurrency
Charlie Shrem, the founder of BitInstant has been charged with operating and unlicensed money transmitting business. He pled guilty to the charge and was given prison time. He had "knowingly transmitted money intended to facilitate criminal activity- specifically, drug trafficking on Silk Road," according to a press release by the United States Attorney's Office, Southern District of New York. He has been in prison since earlier this year but he hasn't got his spirits down. He still believes that bitcoin and blockchain will be the currency system of the future. During his prison time he noticed the digitizing of the prison economy, which leads him to believe that bitcoins and altcoins can reach the masses.

School Shooting Dodged
On Friday, a student at Mueller Park Junior High entered the school with weapons stolen from his parents. Prior to the student being able to carry out any form of massacre, his two parents rushed to the school and tracked down their son. Before departing from their home, the student’s parents had realized that both their pistol and shotgun were missing from their gun safe. Upon walking into the school, the parents heard a gunshot. The gunshot had been left off by their son into the ceiling of the school. The student’s parents quickly rushed the room where the blast had taken place and proceeded to tackle their son. It was reported that "The teen’s parents — who detected his peculiar behavior and wasted no time investigating, then acting — exemplify a growing trend of teachers and guardians who have internalized one of law enforcement officials’ new favorite phrases: “When you see something, say something.” Unfortunately, school shootings have been a trend over the years. Fortunately, this potential disaster was avoided altogether.

Kanye West Hospitalized
Last week, Kanye West had yet another public meltdown. This time around, Mr. West canceled the entire remainder of his tour. It was reported that Kanye missed out on a supposed $30 million. However, an insurance policy came in clutch for Kanye and had covered all losses; including the tickets that are no longer active for the remainder of his tour. Ryan Seacrest made it clear that "I've spoken to Kim. I've not spoken to Kanye, but I think that things are going better now." At this point, we can only hope that things improve for both Kim and Kanye. 2016 has been a disastrous year for the duo. Earlier in the year, Kim was robbed in Paris and proceeded to launch a complete media blackout. Due to Kanye’s hospitalization, Kim has been sent in the media far more lately. However, she plans to continue her media blackout upon Mr. West getting better.

Man Dissolves Parents in Acid
Joel Guy Jr. was arrested by the FBI last week after his parents were found in their home dead. His parents were not just dead, but mutilated and tampered with. After getting into a fight with his parents over his financials, he snapped and took out both of his parents. It was reported that multiple stab wounds were found and lacerations that are what ultimately claimed the lives of his parents. Joel was said to have used some form of acid in an attempt to hide the evidence at the crime scene. "Authorities also believe Joel Jr. stayed in the house after dismembering the bodies. He wasn't arrested until Tuesday in Baton Rouge after Lisa's employer got worried when she didn't show up for work on Monday." Before the family dinner, all was well and fine according to the sisters of Joel. Hours later, Joel’s rampage had begun which ended with both of his parent's lives being taken by his very hands. Police are still investigating what caused the massacre.

Stupid question of the day:

"Aura has reached 10,000 posts in the White Hat Help section, congrats!"

Has Aura been back for a long time? Last I heard he left HF

[SIM-403479]

First mention in the news I believe.

Nice work as always!

10k posts in the White Hat Help Section is insane. Also the ban reason feature could be a good addition. Thanks for another informative and awesome edition to everyone at the HF News Team.
