I have a Seagate expansion 2TB external HD that has file vault encryption enabled. My mac's graphics card decided to die on me leaving me with my Windows 10 laptop.
Now since the HD is file vault encrypted windows nor linux will allow me to access the the HD yet I can see it within devices and printers in windows, and Linux picks it up as a 2nd HD without the ability to view anything.
Long story short I just need to use my HD I don't care about the files at this point, how can I formatt my external HD with only Windows 10 and Linux available to me?
This is kind of a windows question yet involves mac encryption. Thought Mac users could be more helpful in this feild.
