Hey guys,
hope you are all fine.
I have a problem regarding my VM. I am using Windows 10 on my host computer. In my VM, Kali Linux is running.
When I use the VM in NAT mode I can access the Internet using Kali. But when I change to bridge mode its not working anymore. I already tried to activate the Bridge Protocol of my adapter. I also downloaded vmnetcfg to assign my network adapter to the VM. But nothing is working.
My overall aim is to use nmap to search for all active hosts in my current network . Thus, the IP of my VM has to be in the same subnet than my Host computer. But in NAT mode I am getting a different IP.
It would be awesome if somebody can help me :)!
Cheers
