So..this newest update; Aside from ruining the fact you have to look in the direction you want to go not just free pan the map, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to catch the pokemon.
I've tried tapping, holding, walking into them, etc. Nothing is working. Anyone know?

You touch the pokemon itself with either your finger or anything you use to touch the screen a circle should appear under it. Maybe some Lag?

I am aware of how to play it, I am saying, in this newest update, that does not work anymore.

Maybe try re-downloading Pokemon Go?

You could be banned for a couple of hours, this used to happen to me when using certain hacks. The ban should lift after sometime.

There should be no reason as to why I am banned, I do not cheat. I've done as suggested and reinstalled, oddly, Same issue. I may try a different account or device in a bit.
