Ubuntu

Why is ubuntu so cancer for NVIDIA gpu's?

Every time i ever use ubuntu with a nvidia gpu, there is always, and i mean always an issue, whenever i'm using a radeon card and boot with ubuntu it's literally update, reboot, and you're fine, that's it. What is it with nvidia that makes ubuntu so hard to run on? it's annoying.
by default, ubuntu will install nvidia drivers from the open source, which have some issues with the latest cards due to lack of support for 3D acceleration. have you ever tried to use instead of nouveau drivers, the "closed source" unified Nvidia drivers?
