How to rat over lan with no internet connection |

if they are connected to the same router then should matter if they have internet access long as their on the same network, just use your local address (192.168.1.20 <example) and they should still connect.

Yep. Just make sure to use local IP addresses and you also don;t need to worry about port forwarding. You will have to use free rat as you won't be able to verify your account without internet. ![]()

What about dns, do we need that? cant we use it like metasploit reverse tcp payload? regardless as long as another computer and me are connected to the same router (even without internet connection) the router is still giving all connected clients its own local address. so if i use metasploit payload as "192.168.1.12:4444" and was to execute the payload say my computer in the living room connected to the same router it would still connect back to me. even the ARP scanner of metasploit im sure would still work to find all clients on the same network as well as nmap.
